Defence Family Support

St Benedict's is passionate about supporting our Defence force families, appreciating the immense sacrifices made, and offers support to these families.  We recognise and seek to understand the issues Defence families face when transitioning to a new school.

We assist by welcoming and integrating Defence students (and their families) into our school community and during parental absences (e.g. due to deployment, training exercises etc.)  Of paramount importance, the Principal and teaching staff work together to suppport and monitor the social, emotional and academic wellbeing of our Defence students, also by assisting them to develop self-confidence, self reliance and resilience.
