Last week for Indigenous Literacy Day, we were fortunate to have two guest speakers, Squadron Leader Gary Oakley and Flight Lieutenant Grace Casey-Maughan, both Indigenous Liaison Officers from the Royal Australian Air Force.  They shared with our students their personal cultural stories.  The students benefited from hearing first hand Gary’s and Grace’s family history and stories passed down from their ancestors.  The students enjoyed the book-swap which raised money for St. Patrick’s Primary School in Bega.  Thank you for supporting this fund raising event. A great day was had by all.
