A LENS ON LEARNING T1 WEEK 4

This week in Year 5/6 Gold students have been investigating poetry and the use of grammar in ‘The Viewer’ by Shaun Tan. Students wrote and published list poems. They also learnt about the use of main clauses, subordinate clauses and subordinate conjunctions. Students experimented with their use of these in our ‘Conscience Alley’ activity. Their understanding will help make their writing more interesting!

VEGETABLE GARDEN UPDATE

Our vegetables are growing well and our 5/6 students have begun to harvest their produce. Below are some photos of our growing vegetables. We cannot wait to pick our first eggplant!
